As you know, I am running for Cranston City Council in Ward 5 so I can fight to keep our city affordable, safe, and equitable. I am so thankful for your support now and in the past, and I am once again asking for your help so that every resident of Ward 5 is able to hear my vision for a better Cranston.
I am running to be your City Councilor to keep Cranston a community where people not only want to live but also can afford to live and be healthy. Our city is facing a huge financial challenge due to a lack of leadership. I will leverage my experience in public service and financial management to be a strong steward of city funds while protecting vital services.
But I need your help to let residents know about my campaign.
My opponent, Republican Council President Chris Paplauskas, has also not had a challenger for the last two election cycles. This means for our campaign, a strong ground game is the number one way we will win votes.
We know we can win this district that Joe Biden won in 2020, but I need your help to make it happen.
Can you join me next Saturday, August 27th at 1 pm for our canvass kickoff?
We’ll provide a brief training and aim to be on the doors by 1:30pm. Please plan to arrive at no later than 1:00 pm. For folks who don’t feel comfortable canvassing alone, we will send people out in pairs, and for people who cannot canvass we can provide call lists.
Date: Saturday, August 27th
Time: 1:00 pm
Location: Meeting at Cranston West High School Parking Lot
80 Metropolitan Ave, Cranston, RI 02920
Hope to see you there!
